Marie Curie made remarkable contributions to the field of science, especially in the study of radioactivity. She was the first scientist to introduce the term “radioactivity”.Along with her husband Pierre Curie, she discovered two new elements called Polonium and Radium. These discoveries were very important in the development of modern physics and chemistry. Marie Curie’s research helped in the use of radiation in medical treatment, especially in treating cancer.
